TOKYO, April 19, 2002 - CSK Corporation ("CSK"; TSE code: 9737) today announced that write-offs related to the transfer of control of CSK Electronics Corporation ("CSKE"; OTC code: 8073) and ASCII Corporation ("ASCII"; OTC code: 9473) will total ¥14,377 million. Of this amount, ¥8,513 million will apply to CSKE and ¥5,864 million will apply to ASCII.
Transfer of control of CSKE and ASCII had previously been concluded with Venus Fund Limited and Unison Capital Partners L.P., respectively.
